About After his major in Interior and Graphic
Design he worked for approximately eight years to one of the best hand made
furniture companies in Greece, running three dimensional programs to design
furniture (AutoCad, LightWave
3D). Additionally, he worked for many Porcelain Decoration local companies as a designer, for almost two years. In 1999 he started to work as an
assistant of an interior photographer and then became the main photographer.
His work has been published at various and prestigious Greek magazines of
Interior Design and Decoration (Maison, Ideas &
Solutions, Katoikia).
At the same time he started to capture
the glory of Greek landscapes using panoramic equipment or medium format
camera. Nature travel photography became his passion but gradually changed
preferences and started to shoot street photography and studio portraits. He became a member of the Hellenic Photographic Society and joined a few more local photography clubs. He was selected among other fine
art photographers from all over the world and exhibited
some of his street photography work at Photokina 08, Salon de la photo
2008, Paris and PMA Las Vegas 09. Although the last three years he has
been working as a
photographer of weddings and christanings in
Greece, he continues to shoot street photography and work on some projects
for future exhibition. His work is not governed by
rules for he believes that spontaneous photographs are better or more
interesting. Every new assignment is treated as something new so the final
feeling depends on the particular mood of the customer or his intuition. His photographic equipment
includes a wide range of cameras (Mamiya, Nikon,
Sigma with special Foveon sensor) suitable for any
assignment. Lighting equipment includes
SB800 and SB900 flash lights, various tungsten lights and studio flash
lights. He works with Macintosh computer equipped with Lacie LED 24inch, hardware-calibrated monitor for best
color accuracy. He uses only RAW mode for best possible results. Contact:
